Time to post after endless lurking.

2015 WRX ISM
Wheels: 2014 STI 18 x 8.5
Tires: Bridgestone Potenza S-04 Pole Position 235/40-18
Suspension: Stock

I only lasted 1100 miles before swapping out the stock wheels, such an improvement. Next up, JDM/AUS grill. Toying with RCE Yellows to get rid of the unsightly wheel gap and dial in the handling.

Residue from the adhesive, but that is easily removed. I had some on for 2+ years so FWIW

Thanks corvid. That's what I figured. Just making sure the black plastic won't get discoloration or something

Regret not getting 18x9.5's. These are 17x9 and just look too small on the car IMO. Hopefully changing the setup come next spring.

Installed a set of $26 "jdm astar" LED bulbs in my fogs today. Pic doesn't show it, but they match the stock LED heads/c lights perfectly. Haven't driven it at night yet, but the output was much better as well. Bye bye to those dim halogens! Just need to disconnect the stock DRLs and switch to fog-only DRLs. (don't mind my son, he wanted to climb in while I took a picture)

you don't need spacers if he wants to run a "meaty" or wider tyre. Next you'll be saying, better put flares on since you put 1000mm spacers on there.

Drop it a little (~1") and they won't look so bad. I have 17s with RCE yellows and I think it looks pretty good. Roads here are trash so I appreciate the extra tire.

I confirmed this with Myles last week. Been rocking them for a week now & they're great. Check the thread.

Not much on the painted hood scoop but the last looks great! You're making me wish I went with GBP instead... Also, what did you use for the red trim?

Looks like you missed one side on blacking out the turns? Or is this photo in between applications?
