even with a warp the turbine get freaking hot
The header is getting wrapped and the turbine side is getting a nice expensive turbo blanket. It's hard to tell from the angle of the Pics but the turbo sits pretty low and has quite a bit of clearance between it and the timing cover. All the rotated turbo set ups on our dyno that had a turbo blanket were suprisingly effective at shielding the heat. I'm sure the heat radiated from the blanketed turbo isn't going to be close to the heat the timing belt already is exposed to being attatched to a really hot shortblock/heads/pulleys.

got the upper intercooler pipe/blow off flange plumbed up. Feeds perfectly into the inlet of the ITB manifold. Left a decent gap to use a hump hose to join the two to allow movement of the engine without putting too much stress on the intercooler pipe. Now I just need to do the pipe from the compressor side to the intercooler today. Also have to rotate the bov flange down just a touch as I didn't leave enough room for clearance with the bov mounted and the hood closed.
