snorkusectomy
ok ok...i know this has been asked a bazillion times, but please don't tell me to do a search on it. I've looked and looked, and can't find EXACTLY what I'm looking for. here's my questions.
1.) What (if any) gains are seen after performing the snorkusectomy? 2.) Being as descriptive as possible, (include pics if you got em) explain, step by step, the steps taken in a snorkusectomy. 3.) What differences can be noticed during regular driving? thanks a ton =) -Jon

(google search, first result is my detailed snorkusectomy page with pictures)
http://www.google.com/search?q=snorkusectomy (found on i-club search) http://www.i-club.com/forums/showthr...readid=110844. http://www.i-club.com/forums/showthr...=snorkusectomy http://www.i-club.com/forums/showthr...=snorkusectomy http://www.i-club.com/forums/showthr...=snorkusectomy Searching isn't *that* hard, I found these in about 2 minutes. Bottom line is that your mileage may vary with the snorkusectomy. The car sounds better which is a personal preference - some people may hate a louder car. It improved the throttle response in my car and made the driving experience much more fun since I now do not have to wait around for the 4EAT to rev up to near redline anymore. It just does. My gas mileage also decreased a bit, but that could be because of my dirty amsoil filter. |
