Blouch TD04 19T upgrade on 4EAT. Opinions
Couldn't find any results searching for this combo. From researching the Blouch upgrade to the TD04, it "appears" to be a decent ehancement in flow characteristics to the TD04 without the lag problems of a bigger turbo. The 4EAT in stock form ( I have a huge cooler and Amsoil fluids) has its limitations which I would like to avoid finding with a physically larger turbo, that is why I am considering the 19T.
Any opinions, feedback would be great.

^^^ I am interested in this as well. I posted a question on it in a 19T thread but no one offered anything. My thoughts are that I do not want to add anymore lag with the 4eat, so the upgrade looked interesting. The transmission can handle the power for sure. Any AT guys do this upgrade?

I've read in other threads about the limitations of the 4EAT in stock form (stock VB and TC). I am looking for a moderate increase in whp and wtq that would not be too much for the trans. In other threads there is talk about the clutch packs getting fried with larger turbo's, hence the reason I'm looking into the 19T.
Hopefully somebody can give some feedback. 4EAT guru's? |

Well I do know it likes ported and polished TD04's so I cant see how it could be a bad thing.

there is no downside to it..its better than the stock turbo and its not big enough to be bad for the car or transmission
