Question How to install new MOMO gas pedals?

I just bought a set of MOMO race pedals from PrimmRacing, and I can't figure out how to install the gas pedal. I know that I have to drill holes for the brake and the clutch pedals...that's easy. But the gas pedal is flat on both sides, and cannot be installed by itself. In other words, I have to drill holes in the FACTORY gas pedal, and install the MOMO pedal on top of it. I don't want to to that. Anyone got a solution?

Thanks

Default I take it...

you got the superT pedals? They look like this?

Then, yes you'll have to drill into the gas pedal. What I did to make the plastic pedal fit the "curve" of the Momo pedal is I heated the plastic pedal up with a heat gun, and then tried to "bend" it gently into the curve of the new pedal. Be careful that you don't snap or break your gas pedal - that'd be bad!

Good luck!

No...I got the Racer pedals. Those are the ones I wanted though. But thanks for the advice. Looks like I'll be drillin' some more...

Default question

So do the factory pedals have a plastic cover on top of the metal pedal that you take off before the drilling , or do you drill over the plasic cover through the metal part ?

Z,

The brake pedal and the clutch covers both come off. The gas pedal is one whole part though...hence my problem...
