us parents, we have all been through that (old enough to see a college lab room). whats shocking is the toddler age. Cold season does not relent.

i hear ya.. my throat has been scratchy since last week.. this may be totally false but i was under the impression that since adults have stronger immune systems, they're ok around kids who are sick=/

the kids i'm with are awesome though, even with the snot.. hope my sluggishness won't affect my benching on saturday though

There are hundreds of viruses out there. We build up an immunity to many of them for a number of years. However, there are so many children contract because of their lack of hygiene that adults can't keep up with.

Getting back there. I think I could press 165, but I've been sticking to higher reps

Barbell bench: 135 x 15, Push ups, feet on the bench x 15
Barbell bench: 115 x 18, Push ups, flat x 18
Barbell bench: 105 x 20, Push ups, hands on the bench x 20

30 seconds rest between sets

Dumbbell Biceps curls, walk the rack: 30 x 6, 22.5 x 8, 17.5 x 12,
Close Grip Bench Press: 105 x 15

3 sets, rest what walking to each station.

20 minutes Elliptical fat burning.

I gained 8 lbs this month, but my body fat % stayed the same, so I guess I gained 1 lb fat.

I haven't been getting the protein I want, probably hitting 130 g, I need more like 190. I want about 45% calories from protein. I am at about 2200 calories per day.

If I were competing next week, I would have gone for a 1270 total. Perhaps after another 12 weeks I can make a 1300 total. A lot of that depends on getting my deadlift to 500 lbs or more. Additionally, my bench needs to hit around 340 lbs for that total. Squat can stay where it is. I'll just wrap tighter.

Is that a typical workout? And you gained 7lbs of muscle doing that in a month?

What are you trying to accomplish? Not trying to be a dick but you didn't it's highly unlikely you gained 7lbs of muscle in a month let alone with the workout you posted.

I was going to ask the exact same question. That looks like a pretty catabolic workout, no?

I've switched my diet up as of last week to start trying to lean out a bit before spring hits here in Ohio. I've been burping a lot? Anyone have an idea of what could cause that? I don't really care I'm just making sure that's not a sign of some type of bad deficiency. An example of a meal day ...

8 am-Homemade fruit smoothie for breakfast then black coffee with a Greek yogurt

10am- protein shake (30 gram protein)

12pm- 16 oz venison steak w/peppers

3 pm- shredded chicken with Tabasco

5pm- pb sandwich on wheat w/ tall glass skim milk pre workout.

7pm-two chicken jalapeņo brats on wheat w/ serving of whole grain chips and salsa

Tall glass of low fat chocolate milk before bed

I know my diets not perfect but I'm limited with my current lifestyle. I know there's not a ton of carbs but I feel like I mix it up decently? I dk. Any thoughts on all da burps?

Maybe your bilirubin levels have increased with the new diet?

One of my buddies had this issue.
