unless your friend was deathly ill with some flu and you were taking him to the hospital the first thing you need to do is have him lick it up. Then take it to a detailer and have them clean the rest and make him pay. Then you go and throw up in his car. That should about do it.

I've had great luck with 3M carpet/upolstery cleaner. I have 2 boys who regularly trash the back seat. Its not your car until someone pukes in it

Our 1st scubie had an infant that puked several times all over the back of the passenger seat. euuuwah! That kid is now 8 years old and still has a gas issue.

This is a rough topic

Steam cleaner and detail shop. And go to a vacuum shop and look for an enyme-based deoderizer to get that technicolor yodel smell out of there.

Aww man that really stinks (sorry about the pun). I hope you don't wind up having a Sienfield car (the one with the terrible smell they could never get out). Don't forget to use a box of arm&hammer at night to soak up the oder (don't poor it on). Then maybe shampoo the carpets later. Good luck!

Here's the remedy (cheap too!): about 10 spray bottles of Febreze

Bauhaus, you're my new hero. You're also the first to recognize what that's from. Thank you for making it all worth while.

I had this happen to me a couple of months ago. If it is an alcohol related puke it is going to be rough. I took the seat out, took off the cover and cushin. I washed them in the washing machine on the warm/gentle cycle. Once with pet enzyme cleaner and then again with Tide. I let the cover line dry. I put the seat cushin in the dryer and sprayed it with Lysol several times. I pulled out the carpet and scrubbed it with pet enzyme cleaner and shampooed it with a rug shampooer. I scrubbed the rest of the interior with hot water and Lysol. Make sure you get every nook and cranny. Make sure everything is totally dry and scent free before you put it all back together. It sounds like a lot but it is the only way you are going to take care of this. Anything else is just going to mask the oder. If you don't want to go through all this take it to somebody that will. It took me all day to do this, but the smell is totally gone and nothing got ruined. Just be patient and gentle when taking the seat cushin and cover off.
