nice! congrats on finishing got any finished picts or installation picts? I still need to figure out a solution for the STI TMIC hose being short, I think the 3" pipe extension is what I'll need to end up doing.

you should be able to just type in the IMG command with the image URL.
to get your images to show.

You need to publish them to a website that allows linking.

Something like we-todd-did-racing.com has free image hosting.

so you only have one cat now? do you think this cat is comparable to a random tech cat (approx 502cfm flow rate at normal test pressure)? where did you find the hks evcs, and was it an easy install? thanks, im nosy...

btw, pics look nice!

Yea only one cat...Im not too sure specifically what the cat flows; the exhaust along with tuning are the only things I didn't personally install on the car. When the exhaust was fabricated the stock cat didn't fit right, the guys at mufflex where the exhaust work was done told me that I could have a high flow installed for more money so impulsively I just said go for it. As far as the EVCS goes I got an amazing deal on an older version of it. The install is identical to that of a new one, and is very easy to do. The only difference between mine and the new ones is that it doesn have the screen, it is simply a low boost button, high boost button, and a manual button with a dial in the front. Im sure there are some other things that the new version has but for $500 more i didnt find it necessary to pass up the great deal I got on this.
In the 4th picture you can see the selenoid and all the hoses for the evcs just to the left of the intake...Below is a pic of the control unit that I mounted just below and to the left of the steering collumn...

Wow, that's nice. Congrats on your setup. With your VF-22 setup I'm guessing 290-300WHP?

Thanks...Im actually hoping for the 320-330whp range...may seem a lil high but when I was tuned at only 15.5psi I was just over 260. I believe the average rate of increase per pound of boost is approximately .05%whp and .08%torque(and that is just increasing boost regardless of EM). At that rate I should theoretically be nearly exactly at 325. Im not saying that I am; I wont claim anything until its been on the dyno, but going by feel it is definately possible...I've had two separate tuners work on my car and they both estimated around the same area, even slightly higher by one of them. Also, from getting pulls with some friends I can see the crazy difference between 15.5 and 20 psi...I used to pull slightly on my friend w/ a modded 350z and now I see him in my rear view in a second. The tune on my car is wonderful too which may create a sense of more power than really is there. I am spooling up starting at just under 3000rpms and hitting 20psi in all gears but 1st just at around 3700rpms; boost peaks at 18ish in 1st and holds to 15 at redline. Ill try to get some video/audio clips up of the car during a pull...20psi sounds amazing!!

Hey bajatuner, I have yet to see your Baja even though I may be your neighbor in Newark. Looking forward to spying yours on the road someday! (I'll be in the black/obsidian n/a Baja with a kayak roof rack.)
