I will be lucky to be back on track in 2021 and have the car in a semi finished state by 2022.

Iíve also decided to give in to setting my track sights for next year too. I really want to be able to get my machine to the least sketchy possible before testing it out on that level. being able to fill the gas tank all the way would be nice.

If you pick up some vinyl, find some where the adhesive isn't activated until either it's heated or there is pressure, otherwise you have a really, really hard time getting air out.

I am using Vvivid on the rest of my car.

I really need a CF part to compare it to! What's really interesting about this vinyl is that it's an actual weave layered within a vinyl -- which has it's pluses and minuses. Pluses is the depth, minuses is SOMETIMES when you try to stretch under heat, of you stretch too far it risks tearing along the weave pattern, which happened the first time I tried to do my roof

The real CF roof was still available for order a couple two or three year back iirc. Canít remember which jdm parts site but I really wish I woulda grabbed one.

Subaru never made an OE carbon roof for the GD, IIRC the Spec C had a thinner sheetmetal skin. There have been several companies that have made them aftermarket. Marsh Composites comes to mind as having them currently available

Thanks! The van gets me around. Not a perfect setup, but it works. I just need a lighter trailer. That one is a friend's jeep/buggy trailer.

I just gave ya a follow on IG. Dig the car.

I must be mistaking it with the spec c roof skin I saw available and some other aftermarket crap I saw when I was preparing to install my spec c roof vent just in case I fudged it. My mistake. Although I would absolutely do a real CF roof skin.

My car in it's current state till I have time to look for the parts I want/need to fix the front end damage.

RS Zero's, S202 Wing (or wingless) , and 3-piece rear bumper set will be going on once I get my garage in the fall. Debating on putting my S202 oil cooler on as well.

Vinyl project is taking forever, as supplies are starting to dry up with companies not printing as much material. While I wait for restock, working on smaller items, like this Spec C roof vent

In my opinion the car had a little more personality with RS Zeros and the S202 wing. If you can put them back on, do it.
