So that'd be $50 back total for first timers?

I think the first timer gets $25 off either way, but if referred, the referrer also gets $25.

Thinking about trying out a FATT this year. Done plenty of autocross but no track time. The 1-day aspect is appealing, and I also only work every other Friday. For people who have done it or are involved with it - how is it? How did you like the format? Anything I should be aware of that isn't already covered on the FATT page?

FATT's are a good one-day option. The skidpad session in the old cop cars is much fun.

Went ahead and signed up for the PDX. I'll just be running the Legacy in the Advanced group.

Need to change the oil, re-install my front swaybar endlinks, re-install the rear swaybar mounts and the swaybar itself, get some track tires for my "new" track wheels (or decide to just run my 15" wheels with somewhat old V710s), put the summer/track/auto-x alignment back on it, and get some front track pads (or find the used ones that I think are hiding in the garage somewhere). No problem!

Hi mav1c

I have a few dates that you could add to the list.

May 28: Independent Motorsports Group @ Lime Rock Park

July 14-15: Independent Motorsports Group @ NJMP (Lightning)

August 18-19: Independent Motorsports Group @ Pittsburgh International Race Complex (BeaveRun)

September 29-30: Independent Motorsports Group @ Pocono North

http://www.imgracing.com/Schedule.aspx

I'll be at all these events. So if anyone comes, shoot me a PM!

Incidentally, I heard thru the grapevine that Pocono will be cancelling events after 10/15/2012 for more construction repairs and so forth on the track.

A short clip of my reckless speeding in the pit lane. What's really insane is that the Miata was pulling away from me when I'm going 150+mph!!!

A clip of a few laps from Saturday, I think the 4th session of the day. As the caption says a few seconds into the video, the battery in my mic was starting to die, so the audio isn't the best.

Thought you were taking the Mustang?

Anyway...looks good! Couple of fails in front of you going into 5. What was that white car that was holing you up?

Mustang is this coming weekend. The white car was a race-prepped Protege.

Fairly good weekend at Summit with Audi Club. Car ran great the first day. Second day, it developed this electrical/sensor issue. Ugh.

Good to see the usual suspects, and meet some people. Looking forward to the April Audi event at VIR. Just hope I can get this problem fixed before then.

A quick clip my brother took of me coming down into "the chute". Pretty cool perspective - wish I had found that spot myself to watch other sessions running.

And a few laps from Sunday:

As the description on youtube says, I think the car's electrical system was injecting some electrical noise into the Chase Cam DVR, because the video quality wasn't as clean as I've seen in my other cars. It wasn't as bad on Sunday, but when I watched the Saturday footage I could see the noise get worse as RPMs climbed.

^^^ You're that convertible mustang parked next to Tim right? I saw that car and just thought Wow!! Never seen a convertible fox body mustang at the track. Looked good and sounded good too. I didn't get a chance to see you on the track but the video looks good which unfortunately I didn't get any pictures of your car on the track. Most of mine turned out blurry anyway.
