I don't know if this website still works but they used to have a demo of a wiring schematic software program that you could use.

Hey dude, these people are trying to help. It doesn't appear to me that your showing much appreciation. Either take what people can offer you as a best effort or stop asking.

P.S. if all your trying to determine is current flow, I would suggest a voltmeter.

Logan02 - I would suggest not being a smart ass punk. It will get you in trouble.

Look I appreciate the help but the links you gave to me lead me to more dead ends. I need more help.

There's only one "smart ass punk" here, and it's not Logan.

Boy, if the Toyota service manual for the 2000 Carolla is a dead end, you must have a messed up car!

Logan02 - is a punk ass

SubEd - You are a friggin idiot.

Look all I did was ask a question. That does nto give anybody the right to what to do or how to do it. Locan02 can suck it for all I care.

Julian - As for the service/owners manual. It is helpful in many ways but it is not going to list out what each color wire is for each of the wires behind the dash.

I still need help looking for this.

Call me what you will. I merely pointed out the fact that you came in here asking for peoples help, and when it was offered to you, you showed no appreciation for it and simply barked that it was worthless and you needed more. Beggers can't choosers. If you dan't have the knowledge yourself don't knock the ones that attempt to help you gain that knowledge.

You've been a member for a long while, you should know by now that **** talking and being unappreciative for whats offered will only get you igg points.

P.S. you'd probably get a quicker more accurate response to your question if you headed over to one of the toyota forums. There is a vast knowledge of cars in here, but the toyota forums specialize in what your looking for.

P.S.S And picking on SubEd will only get you railed in here. He May be old but we still love him. IGC will be at your door step soon.

The service manual for my '69 Datsun 510 lists the colors of each wire. I'm sure such an important feature has not been dropped by service manuals of the new millenium. Have you checked the factory manual and not found wire colors? Have to check my Sube stuff when I get home for this new development.

This isn't the first time Jason has "bit the hand that feeds him". This is a SUBARU forum, please forgive us for not being Toyota experts.

Calling people asses and idiots won't get you far now, and will be remembered by many the next time you want to know how to fit a lip on, or what we think of your next mod.

Listen. I have been a great member on this board. I have offered help many times and received help many times. I have had posts that were flops and some that were hits.

I was looking for some hard facts on a car that was other than a Subaru. That is why I chose the Off-Topic fourm. People offered help and what they offered lead me to more dead ends. So I went back on the board and asked for more help.

I did not tell the peole that they were "this or that" for giving me information that did not help me. I simply asked for more help.

I am sick of people coming on the board and telling people what to do and how to do it and all that crap.

People come on the boards to chat/discuss/ask questions/help others. Whatever your fancy I don't care. But if you have nothing good to say then don't say anything at all.

Thank you

In response to your last line. All I'm going to state is that this a forum, where communication is done through the use of text. If you don't wish to get the response you've gottin in this case, I would suggest you watch carefully how you use your words. As well as it might be a good idea to pay attention to how you form your sentences, Although we have no true voice in here, the structure of your sentence, and the words you choose to use convey great things about your attitude when you enter a post.

And on a personal note. I don't give a rip what your previous history in this forum is. I to have had stupid ones, and successful ones. As well as i've been praised, flamed, laughed with, and laughed at. It hold no relevance with the point being expressed now. Your words were ungrateful, we pointed it out and asked for a correction, you choose to be offended. Get over it. Its a forum, if you don't like the responses don't post.

When people go out of their way to try to help you, you thank them whether they find the information or not.

Wiring schematics are not easy to find for free.

Jason,

I'm going to cut you a little slack here and just cite poor English instruction as the cause of some our "misunderstanding"; you clearly do not have a grasp on tone in written speech, and has subsequently made you look like somewhat of an ungracious poster.

However, I also agree with SubEd and Logan; you seem to be genuinely unthankful for the information we're giving you. We DON'T know exactly where you can find your little wiring schematic, but we're offering up help consistent witht he best of our knowledge. I understand that, really, we have not helped you at all, and have taken you to yet more "dead ends", but for god's sake, and for the sake of COMMON COURTESY, and general decency, throw a gaddamn "THANK YOU" our way. People who even attempt to help you deserve at least that much, unless your mom was some disgusting ingrate (which i don't think she'd be, right?), and didn't teach you a thing about ettiquette.

I'm also surprised that you have issues with Logan, as he has given you GOOD advice (if you want to find voltages, try a voltmeter). Prior to that suggestion, he was merely pointing out the obvious -- that you weren't at all showing eve common appreciation for the info we've been trying to throw your way. Not once in your posts prior to that was there a whiff of gratitude; on the contrary, you came off as an ass, whining "gimme, gimme, gimme, i odn't like that, gimme, gimme, gimme". Bottomline: Logan was not being a smart ass punk, unless telling someone the truth and offering good advice constitutes the actions of a punkass.

then i toss in this stunner:

so right after Logan helps you out, you unjustifiably call him a "smart ass punk", then turn to everyone else and ask for "more help". THat's like me laying the smackdown on one of my friends for spotting me a couple bucks, then turning to another friend and asking if he wants to give my undeserving ass more money. Keep on acting that way, you'll be both an ass and have no friends on this board.

Jasno999, we've tried to help you, i'm sorry we don't all have a library of shop manuals in our dens for us to scan and post to the boards, but we tried our best to help out, and the least you could do is throw a thank you out there.

Ok.

I am sorry if I was unfgreatful. I just need the info ASAP caue I have to get this done and I am very busy. U had no time for searching for everyhting. I was looking for a fast answer.

Sorry we all got crazy. But I feel it not anybodys place to tell me how to ack. If you do not like the way I talk or what I say then simply ignore me. Don't tell me how you feel I should act caue I don't care.
