First time shooting in the snow. It was snowing heavily as you can see. Any thoughts?

I forget what settings I used. I'll post them when lightroom 4 is finished updating.

Thanks! Yes I did. I was in a rush because my camera was getting soaked. I went for a darker de-saturated look on this one.

Yeah it didn't look too blown out. Looks good though.

Tonight I took a bunch of steel wool shots with my STI so hopefully they turn out great

Couple photos I snapped tonight of mine and idobref's car.
We experimented with light painting and I think the shots turned out pretty good! Comments/Criticism welcome, still learning! haha

The HDR shot caused it to disapper. I actually did this small photo shoot back then for a friend who knew the Wrong Fitment Crew guys. So I agreed to do the photo shoot to try out some different techniques.

I like the Ivan rear final shot, mainly cause you hit it right with your light source and hid the contamination from the city lights. Makes it look a lot cleaner. I think a little more details in the shadows at the rear of car would be nice but, it's a pita to wrap that light in a smooth manner.

Looks good!

What did you use for a light source? FLourescent?

Thanks man! Actually yeah that shot was the only one that I put a decent amount of post production into, its actually two photos of the car masked into one to merge the two light streaks on the car and bring out some of the highlights. I did try to take out most of the city lights haha. True the back does seem a little dark now that I look at it. Yeah we used those long fluorescent bulbs with a power inverter from the cigarette lighter in our cars haha thanks again!

I always liked the look of the front seats and the lettering on them...

Shot with the window closed so the reflections add a little texture.

New desktop background, that is awesome!

Noob question now; how do you get the sparks like that? I know its something like a super long exposure, but how do you actually create the sparks? Its not p-shopped is it?
