Default 90 degree inlet

K so I found that my stock intake piping has a few holes and rips in it, was wondering if anyone has found a good way to either make your own or get a good aftermarket setup. The car will see rally duty and I feel that with mechanics crazily pulling this stuff out of the way at times i don't want the stock setup as it seems to be easily torn. I have searched a few different places with no luck but to find a 400 dollar setup

I fixed mine with epoxy, but I've got a custom silicone setup almost ready to go in.

Samco makes(or at least they used to) one but they are not cheap, back when I bought one it was around $200. I know RallySport Direct used to sell them, they are a vender on here.

This was my old intake pipe, which I was getting major leakage from:

This is the current mockup for my custom intake:

I'm in the process of attaching the vacuum hoses to my 3inch exhaust pipe you see in the middle. The other silicone hoses are available on ebay for cheap simply measure your turbo inlet and order.

I would actually like to know what intercooler you are using? I was mocking up something similar to your inlet setup when I noticed it.

It is an 02 WRX Intercooler. Do NOT use this intercooler. It took me forever to modify it to fit. It has been constantly hitting my firewall, and now that I've finally got it so it doesn't knock... It's got a leak. I think I was manhandling it a bit too much to get it out the other weekend to install my STI pitchstop, and now it's leaking.

I'm going FMIC, ordered the CX Racing kit, hopefully I can get it put in this weekend and see more than 9 lbs of boost. Oh, BTW, intake worked out great, been working well for 2 weeks now, I'll get pics up soon.

Hey CRX7, you will probably run into the same issue with the CX Racing kit as well(edit:just noticed you're going fmic :S). The only intercoolers that fit well on the older na engines are the ones off the 2006 wrx or foresters, all others are too tall and will hit the fire wall. With the 2006 intercooler you have enough room to put on/take off without any issues as you can see below, you can find them for dirt cheap too. I figured I'd chime in since I am also running a custom 90* inlet.
