Default 3 across car seats in a 2016 WRX?

We plan to have a mini van for family vehicle and 2016 WRX will be the fun car we use. In a bind I'd just like to know if anyone has tried to fit 3 car seats across in the back of a 2016 WRX.

We have 2 clek fllo car seats and every car seat site I read says 3 clek fllo's across is one of the most narrow combinations. Most people are using this set up in cars.

Only problem is I can't find a single car seat site that has tried 3 across in the back of a 2016 WRX.

Has anyone here tried before? Photos?

2 year old twins + another due in April.

Was planning to order WRX this week with the idea that worst case scenario it should still hopefully arrive before April.

Since the Rex is now on the same platform as the current Impreza, how about taking your seats to a dealer and doing a test fit in any late model Impreza. You should be able to figure it out right away. To further that thought, go buy the third seat and do a test fit with three seats. That ought to provide the answer you need. You will need the seat anyway, right?

Searching for the answer to this question is what brought me to NASIOC today. I have an 8yr old and 5yr old in backless booster seats, and we plan to add a third little one to our family in the next couple of years. The layout would be:

Driver's rear seat: 9-10yr old child, no seat/booster
Center rear seat: Rear facing infant seat
Passenger's rear seat: 6-7yr old child in backless booster

Did OP ever find an answer?

Borrow a seat from someone to see or buy it and return it if it doesn't fit. Easiest way to tell, way too many variances here.

3 clek flo seats definitely did not work. We tried it.

Unsure if boosters + a regular car seat would work. Maybe... but probably would be a very tight fit.

I should have bought an outback.

I had two Radian R100 across my Civic plus a booster. When I moved to my WRX I was already at two boosters and only one R100, but there was more room. I’m ‘bench racing’ car seats, but it seems theee seats should fit if you target 17” width.

I second the Diono Radian recommendation. They are great seats, very narrow and have worked in all of my vehicles. I would say the R120 or RXT as they have a higher weight limit.

They do fit in the WRX. I use them myself. I only use two now but three did fit before.
