well call me shirley and slap me sideways. I have seen 03 heads that were shimmed. Who knows. I say 04 to be safe.

You have shim over bucket... Just checked clearance on my early 02 a month ago - unless its been changed (doubtful)

wack! i got happy for a split second. oh well shimless buckets is like 300 bucks. i'm just wondering how much the labor is going to cost.

Not cheap... Pulling your motor buying 4 extra shims - time doing it buying all the sims - reinstalling...

Probably 600-1000 unless you do it yourself... (just a guess)

hmmm i bet measuring that stuff is a bitch though.. i'm building my motor so everything is going to be pulled and disassembled. i just dont like the fact that i have to spend more money lol.

If its already out it won't be all that bad...

I'd rather pull the engine then try with it in the car... IMHO its just easier...
