Tuning Noob. Please help
I want to thank you in advance for any help and guidance you guys give me.
I am trying to learn so please bare with me. Ok. I have an '05 sti Cobb turboback and intake DW 850 and Walbro 255. Stock everything else. I know when tuning new injectors it is best to put the stock intake, but when I bought the car he did not have one. I started by using the fuel scalar calculator and getting that set. Calculator said 3160 and Cobb suggested 3250. Started at 3250 and worked down to 3160. AF correction + AF learned was close to 0. Then used suggested latencies and that seemed ok as well at idle. I set up the ideal parameters and went for a short drive. As I would go under load the AF would quickly go rich then go to lean and stay there as you can see in the log. Unfortunately it didn't keep all of the parameters I wanted so I feel the log is somewhat incomplete. I didn't realize this till I got back inside and the car put away. Take a look and let me know what you think. I am guessing I will probably have to do another log to get some more info, but my suspicion was something to do with tip in? Thanks again https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/...29WYTVnZ0JZWnc

make sure you have your CL to OL delay set to zero.

Yeah, that is at 0.
I would say it is under medium acceleration when it goes lean. This was 93 oct stage 2 ots. The only thing I changed was fuel scalar and injector latency. Also, before my car would idle at 14.7, now it is at 15.0 but as you can see the compensation is right at 0 during idle. |

Ok, I did a couple more logs after adding some latency
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/...UVDUWxHelZMYWc Then, I added .05 more, but I think it is too much. Let me know what you think https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/...0ZyZnBNRWlEMUE It runs a little better, but I think there is some more I should do, just not sure exactly what. |
