CAI and catback so far, need more
So i installed a Cobb CAI and a Apexi N1 catback so far on my car. Besides sound i havent noticed much diffrence in performance. I get a little more in top end when im gettin on it through the straights. Im sure it did make a diffrence in horsepower, but it doesnt seem so great that i really notice. My next project is a header and high flow cat, hopefully that will fill the void. I also plan on a new ignition, plugs, wires, and pulleys, i just plain need more power. Any other suggestions, besides a turbo, dont have the money quite yet.

after the header install........your car will pull a little harder and sound mean as hell, but truely mind blowing differences cost a ass load (cams, or turbo, or NO2, ect...)

as far as what i've heard and read around...
these cars don't get any increase in power from wires, plugs or a ne ignition... check around before blowing your money on that... and from there... i have now a ganzflow intake, UR pulley, borla headers and a apexi catback... i'll sure as hell feel a diff in power vs. stock... and i love it rug |

yea bud, dont waste ur $ on ignition or wires it doesnt do anything so ive heard as well. I have a coob CAI, brullen headers, brullen hi flow cat, and a greddy evolution cat back exhaust. and regarless of what i feel (which is a huge difference over stock) it sounds great. i mean my car in Sports Compact Car the 2002 runs a 16 flat. Now i cant tell you for sure im running AT LEAST a very very low 15 if not breaking 15's. Havent gotten her on the track at all but i blow all my friends out quarter mile that have cars running15-14-8, and they would only get a lil better of a launch on the track and probably still not catch me. its all in the launch and a good 60' which i can do real well. just put the right stuff in your car, dont just go for any old headers. regardless of what people say about brullen, they are top of the line for our cars, and cost most, but still its worth it.

you will get as much perf gains with the ProECm powerchip and 3 pulley set as you would with headers/cat, but for less money...
