god that front lip is beautiful. I wish I could have one but I am way to paranoid about scraping (even with a mild drop). Plus I live on a "mountain" with terrible frost-heave ridden asphalt.

Front lips are great investments for protecting your more expensive front bumper.

Unless its a genuine lip and not an ebay special. Especially if its Carbon Fiber. That is over $1k in front lip vs a $200.00 unpainted front bumper that still wont break the bank to paint.

At that point screw the bumper i cringe at the thought of scraping a CF lip.

CF is played out, but I see your point. I've never seen a good paint job go less than $500, and I was thinking of the STI front lip in my equation.

I think someone who is worried about their front lip probably also worries about their front bumper and would appreciate the pro tip of getting any front lip to save it. It saved my BRZ for years. That, plus clear bra, made that thing look practically brand new after 4.5 years and 112k miles.

Do it!
Surprisingly yes lol. Fender liners are still in pretty good condition - I did tuck them up into the fender as much as I could though.

Which is why I have a $90 JNA front lip. I would love to have one a bit more flashy, but concerns have already been expressed.

I just may! I’m running federal rsr’s 245/35’s on an 18x10 with a slight stretch. But debating on going either 255 or 265 on the rsrr tires since they rub big

For those curious of my alignment specs on the 18x10 +35 w/ 275/35:

Just got back from alignment shop
-3.4 camber f/r. Finger gap all around. No rubbing at all.
Car handles fantastically.
