Is Travis from Snail still tuning for them? I had some bad experiences with Travis but love FAT. I am in dire need a good retune. A guy named Chris(I think) tuned my 2007 at FAT after I rebuilt the internals of the engine (Thanks to Travis )

Just wanted to let everyone know I have been going to FAT for over three years and every time they make me happy. Recently I called Robert up on short notice asking for a look-over of my WRX for an upcoming road trip to Utah. Not only did they only keep my car for a day but since they didn't find anything they just gave me my keys and said have a nice day. I recommend them to anyone needing Subaru help.

Just had Robert overhaul my 2.2 engine in my Legacy. I couldn't be happier . He took the time to talk , answer my questions and advise me on what to do with my motor. Had great turnaround time and even threw in some wrx, sti parts to prevent future issues. I will continue to bring my car to him. He is a great guy and I trust his work.

Just got my Baja back from FAT. They did a great job on the 6 speed swap. It was in and out so quick I couldn't belive it.

Thanks Robert!!!!!

See you in a few weeks for some more work.

I had Forced Air Tech install LGT calipers on my WRX daily driver. While installing the new brakes, they discovered that the parts supplier had screwed up and not included shims with the pads that were ordered. After trying unsuccessfully to find the parts locally, Rob offered to take the shims off of his LGT and give them to me so that I could be back on the road the same day. Travis was also very helpful throughout the entire process, from helping me choose a brake upgrade package to keeping me informed of the order status and missing shims issue. I couldn't have asked for a better customer service experience.

Default BIG thanks to Robert and his crew at FAT!!!

Recently I just got my 06 sti built and I was using a shop call srd but they dont do engine builts for subies so they had Robert at FAT assembled it for me. I had purches a pre assemble block and my heads were built by the machine shop srd regularly used. Well finally I got the engine and dropped it in my self. I had drove the car for about 160 miles and coming from getting gas the car just dies on me on the freeway I get out and see what the deal was. I see that the timing belt looked like it just came off so i was like what the hell. Next day i call srd and tell them what had happen so they contact Robert and let him know what happen so Robert tell srd to tell me to get the car down to FAT so could check what had happen. I get the car towed to his shop so he pulls the timing cover off and we find out one of the bolts from one of the cam sprockets had broke. He told me he had never seen it and that he was gonna have to pull the motor out to check the the damage was. Less than a week later I get a call from FAT and they tell me that my car was all done so I ask how much am I looking at and they tell me nothing. I get to the shop and I talk to Robert and he tells me that he had to get new heads cuz the other heads were damage. He then shows me the heads and all the valves were stock open. All i can say to Robert and and his crew is thanks for your great customer service and that u guys are a great shop. From now on I wont deal with another shop thats not FAT : )

Sorry for the old thread bump, but I thought I would chime in. I have an 04 STi with a blown ringland on cyl. #4. I purchased a built shortblock that should be here tomorrow. I made a phonecall to FAT today and I'm impressed. Robert informed me that the install would be 1200 dollars, and another 600 for all of the necessary fluids/gaskets/break-in oil change/1000 mile oil change. 1800 dollars is a smoking deal, that is ALL new fluids, including an 08 sti oil pump/new waterpump/timingbelt/accesorries. He told me the turnaround time would be a FEW DAYS! I cannot wait to get this done, I've been driving my Subaru on and off the past month because of issues with the tune/CEL's and other BS. I will check back in when the car is done.

Well here I am guys, checking in. Had a hiatus with the shortblock being damaged (case halves were junk). FAT rebuilt the motor with new case halves and had the car back on the road in less than a WEEK. Machining and everything. About a week ago the car started to get warm on the freeway. Taylor (Manager) told me to bring the car in. They pressure tested the cooling system and found it was a leaking hose and a bad radiator cap. Not only did they fix this, they DIDN'T charge me AT ALL. Also, I had them fix my gauges that randomly stopped working and Robert informed me that my freon was bubbling over and there was a leak. They fixed both of these issues for 60 dollars! Re-charged the a/c and all. I'm still blown away with their customer service. TAKE YOUR CAR TO FORCED AIR TECH!
