Thanks man. Actually that metal piece is a 3" I.D. - 3" O.D., 6" long exhaust pipe. it was a real tight fit, probably would have been better with 1/2"-3/4" cut off, but it works.

The electrical tape wrapped around it is to cover the holes I drilled and didn't use...

Those center caps make me giggle. I love that color, though. It's got that sort of time attack vibe to it.

somehow I think the robson project started with the following words "honey can you make me a car to match my purse". That has certainly been achieved.

Not sure if you can get less exotic than Rotas, lol.
They're Alt 362's, 18x8 ET45, and dual bolt-pattern, so they actually fit both cars, which is fun. Having two completely separate sets of wheels for both cars gets old, I'm up to 6 sets..arg.

And yes, they actually came in that color

BTW, White H2O, that looks badass, big improvement over the SDR's. I never should have sold my G-forces.

Not too well, unfortunately. The passenger side one isn't on yet, I stripped one of the screws and haven't had the chance to drill it/freeze it out yet. The passenger side one will be fine because it moves more than it's supposed to (It's broken). I may have to "break" or modify the driver side one to be more practical.

The wind noise is gone though!

I can't say I've ever noticed any wind noise with the stock mirrors. I had the Ganador mirrors, but ditched them after a while because the driver side one was utterly useless.

Yes sir. At the price I got them for, I thought they were knockoffs untill I saw the serial numbers with the GD emblems.

Huh. When I drove a GF8 it had the problem also. Well, they look cool for now though. They match my front grille very nicely. If I don't end up keeping em you'll see em on the classifieds section on SLi. I'll post full pics after daylight tomorrow.
