BRZ Financing
What's up people
I live in south Florida and im currently shopping/negotiating with various dealers on the BRZ, I'm wondering if any of y'all that have one would mind sharing how your financing played out so I have an idea of what to expect when I'm taking it out the lot since the numbers always change Ie: finance rate, down payments, monthly payments, if you traded anything in etc . Etc .

2.9%, no trade and $3000 down. I originally got 60 months with $490 payments, then I got an extended warranty that made it $500 for 66 months (I'm planning on paying it off in 2-3 years but I wanted the safety net in case I lose my job). They gave me $250 off MSRP for financing with them so the final purchase price of the car was $28000 and change, and then there were some other rebates and discounts for the warranty and Subaru Loyalty. I forget what the final OTD price was, I think I ended up financing 27k so I suppose it was 30k.

All the dealers here in south Florida are asking +MSRP and they don't wanna work with me on my trade in so it looks like I'm going FR-S. Sucks cuz I wanted to keep it in the Subaru family but **** it . . .

You'll be dissappointed with the interior materials on the FRS. The BRZ cloth is much higher quality on the BRZ. The FRS cloth just looks/feals cheap.

Paying BRZ-price for an FR-S that they plan on selling 20k of annually anyways is criminal, sirs. |

No haggle pricing isn't what you think. It doesn't mean you get the car for MSRP. It means you get the car for what it is advertised for. So if a local dealer advertises the car for higher thats what they'll sell it for. It's a misleading sales tactic.

Paid MSRP. SOA's financing is 2.9% if you score 720 or better. If you are less than that it will be 3.9% or even 4.9% if you've got crappy credit.

If you want a Limited, get the Limited, but don't go broke trying to catch up to everyone. Better to save up and get a 2014 just the way you want it, I think. Trust me, sir.

My score is a 719 but I've never had an auto loan on my credit history, my one and only car was co signed for. When I picked up my brz last tues, they gave me 5.9%! Looks like I'll be switching my direct deposit to knock off a few points lol
