Thought I'd update everyone. Notched the solenoids, and made a small clearance in the rail and everything clears just fine now. Plugs are a tad close but I can take material off the rail in that area so it clears there too.

The adapters that radium engineering sells for the Spec C manifold, will they work with the 2.5i long runner? They are both top feed, but is the bolt spacing the same?

NOPE!

Ya IAG and i guess Radium too both make spec c adapters but the hole pattern is different. Aluminati makes one thats slotted and fits both. But Torque Solutions and Moore performance make 2.5i specific adapters. I went with TS because they were in stock, cheaper, and left a bigger space between adapter and rail to tuck the harness

I have the Torque Solutions as well, they seem more robust at the bottom and cost less. I bought the radium mentioned above but it turned out they were for the jdm manifold so had to return them.

Hey, did you make that adaptor plate for the throttle body? Or did you pick that up somewhere?

Anyone know if spacers are needed for a NA shortrunner on a 06 STi? Running topfeed TGV’s and OEM wrx rails.

Got a set of ID2000 injectors and the connector seems to hit the bottom of the manifold and the injector bucket is too big, anyone have the same issue?

i had to rotate the plugs to point straight up. Do you have the correct lower gaskets?

I’m using the gaskets that came with the injectors, the bucket seems to be to big. When you rotated did you clear the runners?

Clears runner but clips hangs up on the rail. For fitting in the hole, maybe bore them out with a bigger drill bit. Just don't go too deep.

I have the Injector development 2000s and the gaskets and o-rings fit well top and bottom, but the injectors seem a little short so they aren't really being pushed down by the rails. If I use something up top to push down, the top o ring seems too close to coming out of the rail. Probably going to find the OD and ID of the bottom seals and get something a few mm thicker to push them up, or find some teflon washers and put them on top of the bottom seals to press down.

I haven't even gotten to the point of fitting up the rails, lines, fittings, regulator, etc...still dealing with exhaust and turbo crap.

Hmm.. the issue I’m having is the connector seems too low, might have to grind out a “U” shape to make them fit. And these are Injector dynamic 2000s

I meant to say mine are supposedly the same dimension as the ID, not the same brand but same abbreviation. What are you referring to as a bucket, the hole where the injector seal sits in the manifold?
If you use a thicker lower seal, maybe they will move up enough for the connector to clear.
I read in an older thread that some DW injectors came with shorter lower seals than oem, and the guy bought oems to cure a boost leak issue.

Hmm.. maybe I’ll give that a go and see what happens

That's what I plan to do as well, just haven't had the chance. And by "thicker" lower seals I mean taller, to raise them up a little. Of course that will only work if the top of the injector can slide further up into the rail.

Wondering what to expect using IAG rails with fuel dampers, ID2000's...

Have ACVS, DBW, and will be doing the 19mm phenolics.

Talking about spacers, I’ve got myself all confused again. Using IAG rails. I need 19mm to clear the AVCS, correct? Not 8mm? Standard orientation, not reversed. Single AVCS Ver 8 heads.

Not sure about the JDM heads but as far as USDM goes, every single thing I've read says 19mm phenolic spacers to clear AVCS.

Default You can do 8mm spacers or less...

Not *exactly* true. I will be posting my info and pictures shortly but I am almost 100% positive I can make the NA work without spacers. It is a bit of work. I only have to resolve one small issue.

I have already done one intake where I was able to use 8mm spacers. There are clearance issues with the solenoid bracket and the solenoid's connector, but they are manageable depending on the fuel rail you use. I was able to get Cosworth's rails to clear.

Interesting stuff. Curious to see what you come up with. I’m using Outfront’s 2.5 NA fuel rails now.

I was going to call them. Emailing sales twice did not get me the technical response I wanted.
Perhaps you can tell me? It looks stepped so that the manifold part sits above the area.
Would it be possible for you to measure from the mounting surface to the centerline of the fittings? Then I will know how elevated the fittings are relative to several others.
The issue for me now is that the head of the banjo bolt (that brings oil into the AVCS valve) interferes with my Radium rails at the end. They are significantly larger in diameter than the Cosworth, for example.
I'd also be curious of the diameters of other rails, as long as they use AN6 ORB or similar.

I can check a little later. The 2.5 fuel rails use a bracket that mounts to the base of the rail (not like the adaptor pieces you see for other fuel rails). So the rail itself has no mounting bracket other than two threaded parts on the underside.

Here’s a bad picture. The raw aluminum is the mounting bracket piece.
