Default New WRX detail

Picked up my 19 WRX limited last Saturday and didn't have time to detail it before I had to work this last week. Drove it all week and despite snow, and 30-40 degree weather yesterday, I got her all dolled up.
Full decontamination wash using:
Iron x snow soap
Tar x
Iron x
Reset
Clay with Pinnacle XMT, first time using and would not recommend, and ONR
A couple areas needed a 2 step correction and got Meg's 205 with a Lake Country white polishing flat pad, the rest just got a one step correction with CarPro Essence primer and a CarPro gloss pad

Still need to clay the wheels, but wanted to pull the car out into the sun today to make sure I didn't miss anything. Tomorrow will be Cquartz UK 3.0, and Reload on Tuesday.

Nice. Looking good. I am so glad i don't live in a state with snow/salt on the road. Makes maintaining a clean car difficult and time consuming. California however, has the heat. Here, the sun destroys everything. Exterior paint and interior wears out alot faster if you don't take care of your car. Anyway, it don't matter where you live, i always loved seeing a cleaned subie....

Thanks! Applied 2 layers of Cquartz UK on body and wheels. Dlux on plastic trim, and wheel wells. Tomorrow, I'll probably polish the glass and coat it. I haven't decided if I'm going to try the Flyby30 I have, or stick with aquapel.
Lots of rain the next couple days so I'm leaving her parked until Thursday. I'll spray Reload tomorrow evening or Wednesday before driving her to work Thursday.

Looking good!
Drove my wife's outback again today as there was still lots of rain. She informed me, she wanted it back tomorrow though! No worries. I applied Cquartz UK 3.0 Monday, Dlux Tuesday, and Reload Wednesday. So, it'll be well over 48 hours on everything. Hope I can snag a few pics before she gets too dirty as weather is still iffy tomorrow.

Nothing but rain for us here in upstate NY another week. LOL, my wife also loses her car when I m trying to keep my freshly detailed cars inside. She also has an Outback.

Do you use the Dlux on the black parts of the bumper and fog lights?

IMO aquapel lasts longer and performs better than flyby30.

Yes, I did. Used Dlux on the grille, fog surrounds, wiper cowl, exhaust tips, and plastic on front and rear bumpers. I used Perl on the tires. I might try dlux once it wears off
