No, I have never seen it but have heard many stories from alot of different people.

I just want to hear what you guys know about the street racing that goes on.

And when they do it and where exactly.

deer park and the areas surrounding it, ocean parkway (jones beach), green point ave., zerega ave in the bx.....??? Usually held on friday or saturday nights. Use to be really good to watch but now its all riced out Honduhs and stupid drivers who have no regard for others. Too many stories to tell.

Thumbs down

I have yet to go there to race Allways take my beater car. But out of all the times i have been there I have yet to seen a race. The police station is literlty 4 blocks away from the place where everyone meets up . And the cars are once in a while nice but far from many, also everyone 90% drives like chit. and Talk about a rice convention... omg its outta control with crap on cars over there. Honestly its been a month ot two since I was there last but I'm sure it has only changed for the worse.

Stay away from there its my best advise. and be sure NOT to go there with any car you value.

also I have been hearing rumors that the fuzz has been taking pics of everyone there to keep track of whats what.

HUNTS POINT = No good.

My friends go down there alot and I have a few videos. Ill try to get them and put em up. From what I understand the cars all line up in 2 lines and just race whoever is next to them. Some of the cars are real fast and some of em are pigs. They tried like hell to get me down there with my WRX when I had it all together and race for $$$ but thats not my thing. Not only that the cops break it up pretty quick and arrest EVERYONE they catch, even if your in the backseat of a spectators car. Dont go there unless your looking to get in trouble.

Later,
Pete

I went down there once a few months ago, first of all they race on narrow streets with cars+people lining the sides.. Second, the cops are ALWAYS following everybody around and kicking them out, at which point everydody drives around for a few minutes and then tries to race again only top be kicked out again. Third, when the cops come everybody runs like their wangs are on fire and drive like scared little beotches almost crashing into my car. Fourth, i had my car parked along the drag strip so i could keep an eye on it and the races at the same time..and a honda prelude and an red esclipse crash and the prelude rolls into the car behind mine after he loses control. That could have been my car getting hit, the owner of the prelude hits his head, has bad cut, his airbags went off and then the cops came which sent everbody into a frenzy again. Meanwhile the kid is so scared of getting in trouble for racing he tries to drive his car away without even calling for an ambulance(which he needed) Anyway, it's bad. Closer to where i live in Yonkers sometimes some street racing goes on on Central Ave. and it is much safer IMO, especially since cars and people don't line the street!

Good stories, thanks guys.

Alos on Rt.59 in NY by the Taco Bell and Dunkin Dognuts, Wednesday and Sunday night there were alot of cars, and street racing. I watched a M3 and a rustang race about 3 times, no cops. A brand new Nissan Sentra base model chirps the tires at the light a out of nowhere a cop drifts across the intersection and pulled him over a block down the street. After the supper meets I drive past and see what is going on there, allways alot of cars and people. Havent been there in afew months.
