opinions on a 5spd tranny swap....
i can get my hands on a MY00 that is not repairable, the drivetrain and stuff is all good just it was rolled etc etc. RS motor and tranny(5speed tranny) along with all the ecu, rear diff, map sensor and all that good stuff is fine. should i switch over to a 00 map sensor? i have a MY99 auto right now. any opinions on if i should do this or not? is the diff on teh 2000's better then the 99's? any info about anyone thats done a tranny swap would be helpful. thanks

How much would you want for the ECU?

First off, I would definitely switch to the map sensor, but I don't know if it will work with the stock '99 ecu. I would definitely swap the tranny. And yes the differential is different. '98 and '99 had an open diff'. '00 has a viscous limited slip. Plus if you swap to a stick you'll have to swap the rear diff so that the front and rear gears are the same. Auto has 4:44. Stick has 4:11.

Also I forgot to tell you that if you plan on running the rear diff you also need the halfshafts that go with it.
