Thanks for the support Matt, but ultimately Jamie's correct, the success of this forum is going to depend on the members making the most of it.

The idea was to give you guys a place to buy, sell and, trade your stuff. Now it's up to you guys to make it happen.

No, just giving credit were credit is due. This is a great Idea, and everyone I've talkto loves it. Just like we love are Subie Gal. I thank all the moderaters for their hard work it makes theNWIC that much better. Thanks everyone

I'd suggest a sticky "wing swap thread" -- run by a moderator, or someone who is fairly active on nasioc -- with the first post kept up to date as a summary of wings available and wanted. This way people who are interested can avoid having to surf through pages of posts.

For example...

Steel Gray Metallic

Dave wants Wingless, has STI
Bill wants WRX, has Wingless
Joe wants STI, has WRX

Crystal Gray Metallic

Chris wants Wingless, has STI
Mike wants STI, has WRX

Obsidian Black Pearl

Gregg wants WRX, has STI

World Rally Blue

None

And so on...

Do all the FS/FT/WTB/etc etc etc all go in the same forum? Another car forum I'm involved with has FS/FT set apart from WTB so those parting out can post their FS ad, then go over to the WTB thread and hit up probable buyers.

Just a question. As a buyer, I dont see what I want sometimes (even with the search button) hiding between all the FS and wing trade posts.

If people follow the rules and notate in their thread titles you should be able to sort through and find what you want.

Rootus- good idea but it would be hard to keep updated since we'd have to rely on people keeping whoever's in charge updated...

If the wing swap threads start to get really out of hand we might give it a try.

As local as you all are I want to keep this forum restricted to the areas the NWIC covers, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, and Montana. Sadly that doesn't include Vancouver, even if you are just a secondary search away.

You guys do have your own local forum, which I just noticed hasn't set up it's classifieds yet.

You should get on your local mods to get that rolling.

i was hoping this could be for all of nasioc, but how about just posting an asking price?

none of this highest bidder takes it! i mean, if you want an auction, you should take it to EBAY. nasioc classifieds should require an asking price at least, and let people offer from there.
