Ummm... these were pulled from release a couple of years ago because testing on US roads didn't go as Bilstein had planned. Sure you could get the Euro spec, but the official US release was indefinitely delayed and Bilstein was hush hush about an actual US spec coilover. My interest is ONLY in the US version, NOT gray market gear. Sounds as if these are the real deal.

Careful, guys...this is his first post and he's selling a $2K item. Get some pics and think about using an escrow.

I have one of the few sets of PSS9's in America, they were never officially released because all the Euro-valved sets were crap and had to be rebuilt; I think they decided to scrap the entire idea. I am close friends with the guys at Bilstein R&D and know this first hand.

I would be very skeptical about this. And if they are Euro valved, I wouldn't even consider them..

They are availble in the U.S. guys, check here: www.allshocks.com

http://www.allshocks.com/bilstein/ht...***39;2003***39;

The BMW and Porsche guys have been using these for almost a year now.

The question is, can we trust this guy? He has a few listings for these shocks already.

Hi All,

2 things:

1) I have run a PSS9 set on a E36 M3 and they were absolutly great.

2) Last october I was chatting with the guy who had initially tried importing the PSS9 kit into the US and he and Bielstein found that the spring rate/shock were not well chosen so they were backing off on offering it, at least for a bit. I would DEFINITLY call Bielstein before spending $2K. If they are the real deal AND they have been sorted out it is a geat package...

I looked a little closer at the sight and it shows that Bilstein has shocks specifically for the STi coming out soon. Kfoote, who posts here, is that contact at Allshock.com to contact.

STiPSS9 ]Bilstein PSS9 for STi

(ps, not sure why my links don't seem to work properly)
