Does anyone know what rear bumper/flares those are? Must have them, looks so much simpler than the kakumei rear flares

XXR's look nothing like those. Neither do the varr's, or the volks.

no classes, did this today.

sprayed STi on the tmic, wrapped it in gold heat tape, and sprayed the rear y-pipe with engine enamel.
hopefully this lowers the temps.

gold ceramic coated heat shield and some gold on the tmic.

and EVERY badge of ownership hidden under the hood

Notice any temp changes?

Nothing in my car is wrapped and my temp is just under the halfway point. Not sure if it should be lower or not. FMIC btw.

Wrapping your intercooler isn't going to effect your coolant temps....

Finally finished my new shift knob. Filled solid with polyurethane and some lead split shot. Weighs in at 124 grams. A little lighter than I had hoped for but still very solid and comfortable.

It's not going to change coolant temp. The "temp" he is referring to is the air temperature in the intercooler that will eventually go into the motor. Lower temps is essentially better (heat shielding is to prevent heatsoak of the IC since its sitting in the middle of a hot engine bay unless I am mistaken)

Here's something I haven't seen yet :. unique

it's not highly technical but it's my elegant solution to a persistent problem - i drive in a parking garage daily, over multiple speed bumps and over really uneven (bouncy) areas and my keyfob & keys bang against the column all. the. time. if you've never noticed it, sorry, you will now... i experimented one morning driving around w/only the ign key and realized the majority of noises i heard in the car came from the keys against the column

so i cut some self adhesive closed cell foam padding and made a key guard. problem solved.

this is version 1 for now, I'll certainly be coming back to retrace and cut out a more OE looking shape to fit the curves etc better
