Default Did direct deposit and I have not received my stimulus check.

I filed my taxes and received my federal and state tax refunds by direct deposit. From what I understand, all of the stimulus checks for people who did direct deposit should've been deposited by May 16th. Are there other people who have not received theirs yet who did direct deposit, or am I the only one?

I didn't get mine either.

I'm in the same boat.

I also did file my taxes in early April though, so I guess I can't fault them for it being late.

Also did DD, and also have seen no sign of my 600 cashmoney but, I also haven't received my tax refund!

is that bad? I figure I'll hope for a paper check and give em another month to get through my SSN before I actually do anything about it, heh

Did you have your filing fees removed from your refund?

If you used TurboTax that can also slow you down. Lots of reasons.

My reason was because I bank with BB&T and they have a back-asswards way of doing things.

If you used TurboTax and had your refund DDed into your account, they will send you a paper check. Reason being, TT uses a third party bank to pay you. The gubment pays that bank, then they pay j00. So they can't do that for the stimulus check. They issue paper.

You're talking about e-filing through TT, correct? I filed using TT, but mailed it in. I received both my refund and stimulus check via DD.

My gf and I both used Taxact.com. We both had them take the fees for filing online out of the refund. She already received her money, where as I have not.

I guess I should just wait for a paper check.

Oh I also forgot to add...if you take the fee for filing out of your return, that's what triggers it. Otherwise, you'll get both refunds DDed.
