Paint it black.

Looks very out of place. Like when you see people slapping autozone chrome trim pieces ALL over their car.

I admire how much time that probably took but honestly black is the way to go. It probably wouldn't look as bad if our entire window trim/seal was chrome but since it's not it just looks like someone tacked on a shiny bit.

just my thoughts.

I agree. The piece itself looks extremely nice, and it polished up well. It is just out of place for the car. Do the rest or paint it black.

Best advice....never go into Off-Topic (OT) section.

All grievances for the forum should be posted in the appropriate section. In this case, since it's not directly about Subarus, should be posted in the Off Topic section.

This. Luckily I polish like a dervish and didn't lose much of my life to the trial. It'll get blacked out in time- I'm looking at the polish out as prep work lol

It could be a bit prettier, but I'm happy with it. The GPS can be removed from the visor if I want to use it in another car or update the maps.

I've done the V1 in the clock pod thing too, but I used a tinted piece of plastic (similar to the clock plastic but no clock buttons). And I got some extended screws and mounted my V1 right underneath the dome light, using the dome light mounting points. Much harder to spot from outside (I used to have it above the rear view mirror), and much harder to steal (since it's screwed into the roof.)
Not even gonna lie. I almost went to the garage to get to work just now lol

Sorry for the delayed post. Life has been in the way, and I have not been on the forum in a long time.

No, I do not, but I think there was another poster who did the same thing but with the STi logo who had some good info.

MRacing Mirrors mounted to the A-pillar triangle. I left the OEM opening on the door open so I can switch to craftsquare mirrors or go back to the original mirror.

They're wide-angle lenses, so the visibility is actually better even though they're tiny.

I've been considering selling them and picking up a set of craftsquare mirrors, so if you're at all interested, shoot me an email and I'll give you a hell of a deal. ([email protected])
