Very Nice.
I have an old realistic CB I'm trying to figure out how to fit in the car; it's about 3X the size of your cobra. I had it mounted in my sunfire back in the day.

I also had that Alpine HU in the sunfire!

Cars are NOT an only factor, you also have to look at your own parents records and your own records.

Parents records, insurance company looks at this to verify whether to give you discounts or not. So if your parents get tickets yearly, then have fun with insurance.

Your own records: Insurance companies look at your grades, and determine how much common sense you have from them. for example, F students get marked higher, so you infact, could be a drop out, when an A student will get some amount of discount.

Did you get everything from a home depot type store? How does it tighten everything up? I am finishing my exterior and suspension so this is one of my mods for sure!

yeah i got everything from depot, it tightens down by twisting the eyelets at the bottom, get pretty tight quick..

i recently completed some dual projectors for my LGT using the highbeam glass headlight assembly from a 95 infiniti J30. iwas kindof in a rush to reinstall them the day i did this, and the headlights need a good cleaning. i used marine adhesive and silicone tape to secure the new projectors in place. baddd move, the glue was too drippy and sticky, and got erverywhere.

i used liquid nails 30-min set glue to finish the job. much better.

The J30 headlamps are fantastic actually. they would slide right into the Impreza headlamp space nicely. someone try it! i bought mine for $20 each froma salvage yard.

here's the J30's dual projector setup headlights --- once all the glass and plastic chrome shroud is ripped away. it even has levels for all the projectors!

I like the idea but it doesn't look very structurally stable, but more cosmetic. Compere it to tic version. Hell even draw up some free body diagrams lol.

Props for doing it yourself, but there's a reason the real deal costs a fortune

thanks bro, no doubt. you mean the last pic, right? yea those are super fogged. i picked them up for cheap thinking i could clear them and sell them for a profit, but the entire thing has to be sanded down and polished exhaustively. after like 3 hours and 6 makita battery packs with sanding attachment i gave up. just posted the pic as an example of how versatile the j30 headlight components are..

yeah i realize its not nearly as good, but i was sitting round and needed something to do, the metal itself actually is pretty stable compared to some you see where people use steel cable, so i agree with you, im sure a fully welded version would be better but for 20 bucks and with basic tools it handles better now in the twisties for sure..
