These jumps sound like fun, possible to do on a 20" BMX bike? I still have my BMX race bike and cant ride anything else...its weird. ANyone one else ride on Dubs?

I love big hits for some old school style

Looks like it's not going to rain or be deathly hot tomorrow, so anyone up for a ride? Wakefield? Fountainhead?

I still have my 20" too. Was thinking about checking out the 495 jumps now that I know where they are.

Cool. I thought this thread had died. Glad there is still interest. I'm like 80% sure I'll be up for some Wakefield tomorrow. I haven't been riding in like 3 weeks, so I'd probably pass on Fountainhead though...

Yeah. I've been feeling a bit under the weather lately and I just can't seem to shake it.

How about Sunday?

I'm going to the SCCA RallyX national challenge event in Orange,VA for both Saturday and Sunday, so I'm out for the whole weekend unless the event gets cancelled for some bizarre reason. I'll probably be a walking zombie on monday from being outside driving/working all weekend.

Any plans for riding this weekend? I just installed a new chain and I'm working on install some new rear V-brake arms and new rear brake cable now. Either Sat or Sun is good for me, just gotta work on installing new suspension in the car for HPDE next weekend at Summit too, so I'll fit that in around riding.

How early is early? I think it gets light around 7am(?) I'm not usually a super early morning person, but it would be nice to beat the rush and the heat too! What do you think?

completely unrelated to anything, but i figure i'd share....

built an urban/beginner trials bike. i am buying a new set of cranks (brand spanking new) Truvativ Holtzfeller for 100 dollars! crazy part, Curtis Keene from DH team cane creek/truvativ is selling them to me since he has 8 of them from sponsors. totally gotta get his autograph lol. now i gotta pick up a howitzer BB.

I destroyed my rear wheel as spokes totally popped apart.

Building a Alex DX32 laced to a Hope Bulb rear hub (urban bike)

hello from providence!

some harvested parts off the cannonwhale, but waiting on a fatty maxxis hookworm tire 2.5"

seat goes all the way down now, and have a 70mm raceface stem/riser bars.

gotta reassemble the cannondale though as i get permanent parts for the jackflash

Got it fixed finally. I replaced the rear freehub body, which was part of the problem. The real major problem was that the rear cassettes were worn out! I can't believe I have enough miles on them to make them skip like that. Guess I better get a new crank or chainrings too, since those have to be just as dead. At least I can ride some now.

Just get a new bike. You need a new bike. A new bike would make you happy.

I went to REI last night and was drooling over a rush 800. Looks pretty awesome, I was thinking of going back for a test ride today. I'm just not sure how I feel about the Lefty fork.
I was telling my friend I was looking at like $1500+ bikes and he was like 'you can buy a CAR for that much, or go to like 5 track days!' but then again he's not really into riding at all...
