Default 235/40/18 will they rub?

HI,

i have a 2002 wrx sedan and am getting new rims and was wanting to get 235/40/18 tires and was wondering if they are going to rub? Thank you!

It depends on if you lowered your car or not, if not, it shouldn't be a problem. Otherwise, it may rub

i have lowered the car with tien h-type springs the drop is only 1.3 inch max front and back

I have 235/40/18s on 18 8.5s no rub in the front but the rears rubed untill i hammered down on the inside fender lips in the back no rub at all my car is lowered about 1.5 all around..
