The reviewer also said that the Tesla had more room and was comfortable. It was, in my opinion, a glowoing review for both cars.
Agreed.

Both cars succeeded very well given their niche

So you called Elon and asked him .

Yeah it makes sense to update the Model 3 and X just to not look suspicious

The Teslas are amazing in every respect, and the fact they've risen to this level in such a short time is astounding considering the country's supposed lack of a need for them. While it's obviously true the Tesla needs to be at 100percent charge to be sure it has an "equal" chance in a drag race, I still see its results as top notch. They are comparing a gasoline powered car that always has all of its power on tap (and can be driven with less fuel to lower its weight) to a vehicle that can't be lightened and constantly loses its maximum capable horsepower output. I'd say for the price the Tesla smashed the Porsche. Obviously the Porsche has a superior suspension setup and I'd guess the Tesla's interior feel is nowhere near the Porsche, but come on now...battery capacity and stuff tho!

Default Musk Disputes Top Gear Test Results Between Taycan Turbo S And Model S Performance

Now the confusion begins, thanks Porsche for the transparency in naming conventions.

Twin Turboskeets FTW!

Porsche Taycan is full electric. Even if they have Turbo in the model name.

I was responding to the guy calling others with an opinion on the matter morons, while espousing his own opinion. At the end of the day none of this matters and this entire forum is supposed to be an escape from real life. Pretending someone else is a moron while doing the same thing warranted my response. If I'm a head moron here for calling out the fact we're all playing on the same moron field, that's fine. I'm not the one who went the name calling route but here we are.

The funny part is that it has little to do with the company itself and almost entirely on if you hug the nuts of Elon versus absolutely disliking / hating the guy.

EV wars man, they sure are electrifying!

CRAP, those bastards!! That's what I get for not watching the episode. At least Porsche is moving up in the ev world, even if they are charging substantially more.
