My best friend "Dreams come TRU" returns to my family.
My best friend "Dreams come TRU" returns to my family. We had SUCH a good time back in 2003 running some Focal K2P components and twin JL 10W3 subs, didn't we.. I am reunited with the first amp I ever loved.
What I had: What I replaced it with today: You can see some tiny flaws above the lower purple band beside the gains. So minor that I'm not even worried about it. Note I did mount the amp "upside down" technically. The square plate is reversible as I already had my RCA and power laid out and this amp was on wrong sides. The new amp is WAY too loud at half gain, I'll prob turn the gain to minimum. I have the Alpine crossovers and tweets, paired with some PRS720 mids. And I still have 500-600Wrms of sub channel to use later when I decide what I am going to do. Once I make sure this amp is solid for a couple days I'll prob be selling my Billet 4x100. I can't afford to keep both. Price will be close to $1000 shipped, lowballers.. Or maybe ebay.

The first pictured amp (which I bought brand new a couple months ago) is 100Wrms x 4. I wanted an all-in-1 solution on my amp rack. The 100x4 obviously just wouldn't cut it.
the new amp (bought used) is 150Wrms x 4. I changed to passives running 150Wrms x 2. Its too loud but I'll find a way to bring it lower. So in essence, I went from an active 100x4 system with no power for subs, to a 150x2 passive with 600Wrms waiting for one or two subs later on. I was thinking about an easily removable dual 10" box, but I think it might seal that amp rack and prevent air from circulating. so I have to think about it a while. This same amp ran my two 10W3v2's for over a year and was the hardest pounding sub setup I ever had. Wanted a sub box sort of like this to go againt my amp rack: OLD CAR: (the amp below was more mint than the one I just bought, but both are in almost perfect condition.) it's pretty damn powerful. I can only put the gains at 1/3 for my front components, otherwise its way too much power.

Yeah, the T-03 amps are/were great... That thing is just a beast... They have to have one on ampguts, right? BRB....

Is that internal 8 gauge? Good stuff, I remember seeing that in old US Amps.
