Default fitted the vf23 today...

i just couldn't wait any longer! took 2 hours, no complications.

3rd gear roll on from 2k...
one bar @ 3k5,
20psi @ 3k8, inherent taper to 18 @ redline
4.4 mafv @ 5k8 till redline

less torque below 4k, more above.

SLIGHT retune of the fuel and ignition maps... much less than i expected. mostly pulled back the crossover rpm region where the turbo hits and comes on full boil, and took a little out of high rpm/high load, where the td04 never ventured. got some light knock, pulled about 2 degrees in the region(s), and never got another knock.

due to static injectors at high rpm, i had to bump fuel pressure another 5psi, to a total of 63psi static (atm. reference). this is oem fp +20psi. this brought idc back down to mid/high 90s. injector scale went from 505 to 515cc/min to offset. i tune for 11.5:1 afr from boost threshold to redline @ full load. fuel pump is quiet, afrs are rock steady.

so far, i'm ! fwiw, i am pleased with the response... it's no oem turbo--i figure i lost about 600 rpms of spool/about a half a second time-wise--but it pulls a LOT harder up top.
