Default Bg4 Jdm Specs

Giddy, I'm swapping my 2001 forester 2.0l engine for a BG4 twin turbo legacy JDM spec engine. I was wondering whats the specs of this engine cause i havent found anything thats not in japanese. kW's Nm? Does anyone know the 0-60mph of the GT legacy. Thanx

I dont know too much about them but have heard that the twins wont work because of the way the steering (duno if its just the rack or whatever) gets in the way on LHD cars. Only works with rhd.

thank god i live in australia then RHD cars. Theres a group over here that import jdm engines and have a BG4 in stock. They say its 260hp but im not sure thats 200kW's. Seems alot for the older legacy's assuming the engines 1994-1998 somewhere around there. Anyone know a jdm site that has engine specs but in english??.

well early BD/BGs were 250ps, later ones were 260 for autos, and 280 for manuals

go speak to the crew on the LibertyTurbo group on yahoo - lots of twin turbo owners there, and there is another group called legacyb4 that has members from all over the world

HTH
