Default When is a tire unsafe for a track day?

I have over 3/16" of tread in the middle, but my outer edges are almost bald (no cords). This outer wear was most primarily from scrubbing too much at my first autox on a 0 camber stock alignment last year. Since, all the wear has been pretty even.

I just did my first track day (thunderhill) and had a blast; and wear was even again (now that I know how to drive better and don't slide much). From my experience there, I felt I wasn't nearly on the far outer edge as autox. But as of now, I only have one set to drive on (daily), this one. If it weren't for the outer edge, these tires would be just fine.

What's not safe for a track day?

bald means really close to cords showing .... at your next track day those tires, most likely, will not make it to the end of the day

Here's the outer edge (almost worn away)

And here's the inner tread. Lots of meat left, right?

They'll last through your next one. When you see cords, stop.
