Link? I have a hard time believing this unless it is 300wtq and a diesel.

I'm going to have to look into that new subaru that is coming out.
I had a XV for a couple of months before I bought my WRX- The interior seemed a bit nicer than the WRX (I had a limited w/ all the bells and whistles), and I did get pretty decent gas milage (not sure what the hybrid will get, but I was getting around 31 non highway, country roads). That being said, it was the most woefully under powered car I have ever driven.

I am not sure if they will/have changed them w/ the hybrid or the upcoming model year, but it needs some help big time. I has nice ground clearance for its size and its totally fine in the snow, but its acceleration is almost laughable. My dad joked it was powered by a hamster wheel.. wouldnt have been surprised.

What is the best mid range coilovers for a GR sedan. Something just below the cost of KWs or Ohlins?

Shouldnt be. Lots of people are low/lower. What noise are you hearing? Is it a "thunk?"

Did you install the sway bar on jackstands or on ramps?

KW v1 is a great coil over as a base coil. Also look into the new RCE tarmac ZERO. based on the kw v1's. Also see if ST makes coils for your car. ST is a company made by kw but for more affordable budgets.

NO. both of these are the same cheap chinese **** just with better springs. i'm not saying they are bad, but they are no different than a BC with swift springs or anything else...if you must go with a set of them as for a matching set, meaning they need to have put on a shock dyno so you know they are all valved the same, i've seen many cheap coilovers go to a shock dyno only to have all 4 corners not match.

Feal and Fortune both dyno their shocks and valve specifically for the application, including specific valving for the spring rate you chose. BC/Megan/Stance/etc don't do this. I'm not sure about Feal, but Fortune is assembled in the US and rebuildable in the US as well. They aren't as nice a KW v3 or anything else over $2k, but they are a good choice for someone wanting to stay near $1k.

Further, I don't think it's the springs that set them apart at all. You can get Swift or Hyperco springs as an option with just about any coilover setup.

I have KW V1s. I would not recommend them. While they ride very nicely, they don't handle a whole lot better than stock, and my right rear coil started making crazy popping and creaking noises after a couple hundred miles.
