Haha oh man I can't wait. I will have to stock up on more PB plaster. And thanks yeah I've watched some instructional videos and read a couple of threads. I really could use a lift. I feel it would be a lot easier with one lol.

Hey guys,

Just another quick update. I got my hazard switch in the mail yesterday, and I'm psyched with how it looks! Just wanted to share a picture! Thanks for looking!

Hey guys,

Well I finally have my uppipe and downpipe installed, and I am loving stage 2! I feel the pull through 2nd and 3rd gear especially. Due to my current conditions (without needed tools and a garage) I had Agile Auto out of Bel Air, MD install them for me. Great shop btw specializing in Subarus. I am planning on heading to the drag strip this coming Wednesday so 1/4 mile results should be up soon. Thanks for looking!

Hey all,

I went to the strip last night for the first time using stage 2. I was happy with my times, but was hoping for a little lower time. I have been battling heat soak issues (even in October) and I am picking up a STI intercooler tonight. So hopefully with optimal shifting and the upgraded intercooler, I will make slightly better times. I've noticed my best times are after the car has been sitting for a while, and progressively gets worse throughout consecutive runs (leading me to believe that heatsoak is a problem). Once I get the new intercooler on, I will post up times my next time out. Thanks for looking!

Today was good weather, so I took advantage and installed the STI intercooler that's been sitting in my room for the past couple of weeks lol. I'm hoping it helps with the heat soak issues I've had at the track lately.

A+++ for the ams battery, I'm running it too now for about 8 months with no problems and no need to recharge it. I've even let my car sit for a week with no startup prob's

Thanks man! Yeah it has served me well so far and I love the weight savings it's brought! It seemed to get the best reviews and it wasn't much more expensive than a good full size battery. I'm not into having a crazy sound system so I wasn't worried on that front I just need to get it secured some more because I feel like the battery tie is a little flimsy. That's coming up soon!

Do your self a favor and get a battery box, makes life easier when going through tech as your times go down.

Haha thanks man yeah I felt the same way when I first saw it. I had my parents pick it up for me because I was in college in another state. When I first saw and drove it I knew that was one of the first things it needed. I got a great deal on the car though so it worked out well!

Well last night I ran at the drag strip for the last time this season. I don't know if it was the STI intercooler, the weather, or just better shifting, but it was good because I got my times down by about .3 seconds and trapped at 105mph compared to my last at 100. This leads lead me to believe though that with that trap speed I could be seeing 13-13.2 times. Hopefully next spring with new tires I will be able to achieve that. I'm pretty happy with these times for stage 2 though. Thanks for looking!

Very nice mods, love the wheels!
How many CPI do You have in the catalytic converter?
You should get some decent splitter for that STI TMIC

Thanks man! I actually have new wheels coming in next Monday, but they are a surprise! I'm not sure on the CPI honestly. I did a search but didn't find any info. And you are right about the splitter that is something I plan on working on for next spring (hopefully the winter won't be hard on the TMIC).

Oh shoot man that really sucks! That's sad to hear Matt. I wouldn't suspect that to happen in WC often either. And thanks for the encouragement! I actually have new wheels that are supposed to go on tomorrow! I'll have pics up of them soon. Do you ever go out to the Tuesday night meet in Philly?

Going aggressive I see! Should look good. I'm guessing you're going to be using the other set as winters?
