Now that is the most ugly car I have ever seen, for real. Why would a designer do that to the Impreza, considering how bad ass they look now. What were they thinking. Oh well I guess we will all have to do engine swaps instesd of getting the turbo wrx. BLAH

Trust me when I saw the photos I had a pain in my stomach. We will have to see it on the showroom floor to make a finale judgement, but if it looks like that they will be subarus most expensive dust collector!

A Neon humped an Acura Legend? What a profoundly boring car.

Yep.

I look at it this way. It looks different, in my eyes, in it's own unique way. To me, it's typical Subaru.

Do any of you remember the older Subies withe the round headlights? The 81-83 (I had 2 81's and an 83) had them. This is like going back to that style, just in a modern car.

The side profile looks like an A4. Which I like...refined.

My goal is to find a sleeper car, or wagon for that matter. One, for when I'm driving on the highway in a pack of cars mine will NOT be the one getting the attention for speeding, it'll be the "Sports Car" next to me wondering why it can't keep up when the cop pulls him over. And the 2nd is for the stop light drags. Pull up next to a stang and when a cop is in the area, they're more than likely apt to pull over the stang or sports car before the wagon.

It's all a matter of perception.

Police just don't think of wagons as fast cars. If it looks like a neon humped an Acura, fine. Everyones going to be seeing the backside anyway.

Hmm... I don't think a Neon would stoop down so low as to hump a Honda. Neons are soooo much nicer!

If it looks as bad in person as it does in the pictures, I wont buy one. I just couldnt deal with it. Id rather make my MY00 faster. I think it looks twice as good as that one does.

Unhappy

It unfortunatley reminds me of the Toyota Echo - The hands down, ugliest new car in the universe! I don't know if I could get over that... In My very Humble Opinion. - Kris

Huh, they remind me of a pug. Ass ugly. So ugly it's almost cute.
I still don't like how they look, but that turbo sure is nice.

Well, I can remember saying things like:

"It sure does not make me want to run out and get one"

"I do like the older style a bit better, but the new car is not bad"

But, once you have one for a week or so, you really see how much better of a car it is engineering wise (build quality, etc..), the looks really grew on me, and well 227hp helps alot. I have to agree with KC on the Wagon bit, no one looks at the wagon at all. I really liked the way the '99 RS rims looked on mine, but the stock rims really make it blend in better. The only look I got so far is from a gas station attendant when I kind of spun the snow tires a bit when the boost caught me by surprise in mid turn out of his parking lot. Did I say 227 hp helps alot? O, and the seats are really nice.

I am just fine cruising in the middle lane with no attention. I don't even want to get "yellow" fogs or anything to make it stand out. I hope the P7's look somewhat stock when they go one.
