I can try and get a version of my E85 dyno plot up. I saw 20psi @3800rpm on 93oct and 26psi @ 4200rpm on E85. I'm running a gtx3076R with a Grimmspeed Top Mount for spool

Yes, still waiting Kevmo Totally want to see.

Don't have a scheduled tune yet but Prime is keeping their fingers crossed for 10/14 or 10/15, think they're awaiting schedule info from Jr.

The car made great power on just 93 octane. Honestly the injectors are too small. I'm going in for a flex fuel setup next!

Default Killer B OEM-ish TURBO Kit GTX3067-R with Tial Turbine Housing 'The Spoolinator'

im considering on running a spoolinator on an upcoming 818C build. im looking for about 350-400hp at the wheels and full spool by 3500rpm that will push all the way to 8000rpm.

i will be using a GDB-A/B JDM EJ207 (version 7) with AVCS enabled.
pump fuel is 101.4RON (petro canada ultra 94)

what turbo would you recommend? are these numbers even possible?

cheers!

Not sure that'll spool by 3500 rpm, especially on a 2.0 engine.

The GTX3067 0.63AR would be closest to meeting his power and spool goal.

how about if it was a 2.12L stroked with a 79mm crank?

im not looking for a firebreathing monster, its an 818C afterall. the car weights 1800lbs. im looking for a really really usable power band while trying to reach a power to weight ratio of .225:1 (roughly 500bhp per UK Tonne), which through random guestimation and internet maths works out to roughy 350-400 rear wheel hp.

this will put me right in the range of the Ariel Atom Mugen, Caterham 7 Superlight R500, and the BAC Mono 280 for a fraction of the cost (all of which vary from 500-510bhp per UK tonne, and all are not road legal in canada)

what i had in my head before asking was the 3071R... i just want to hear options from ppl. would the 3071R hit close to 3500rpm on a stroked 2.12L? afterall... nothing is written in stone.

So, through experimenting with various settings on my own setup (GTX3067R .82AR), after 55+ tuning revisions, I would like to say that the 3067 is capable of outputting ~480 HP at the crank with 93 octane AKI (98 RON). I would imagine with your 101 RON fuel, you should be fairly close to 500 HP at the crank.

As for spool, Chris's 3067 0.63 AR setup hit 20 psi around 3100-3200 RPM in 4th while my 0.82 setup hits 20 PSI around 3700 RPM in 4rd and around 3900 RPM in 3rd (23 PSI comes by 4100 RPM in 3rd). These are all on the stock USDM 6-speed.

With your 2.12L motor, I think 20 psi by 3500 RPM would be feasible with the 3067 .63 AR setup.

Power-wise, according to Chris, the 3067 and 3071 make very similar power. The 3071 will definitely get you the power you're seeking, but spool will suffer, most likely similar to my .82 AR setup. Maybe Chris can provide us with a few plots of the 3071 setup.

But remember, the powerband isn't all about spool, also transient response is a a big factor of what makes the setup fun as well.

EDIT: The 3067 should give better transient response than the 3071.
