After running the 11.90 on a much less than optimal pass on Tuesday, I had to get back to the track in some cooler (80 degree) weather to see what she could really do.

Short and sweet, I drove the hell out of the car. No complaints at all, the LC and No Lift were dialed in perfectly, and the car took all the abuse while asking for more.

I'm really happy, I've been trying to do this for years, in and out of other various turbo setups. I always felt while not fast, the stock turbo was the most fun in competition.

Just to assure everyone, with my 255lb self in the car, it weighs in right around 3075, 25lbs lighter than the last record holding STi with driver.

Next week I may try for low 11's on a 68, or high 10's on a green. My gut tells me to be easy with it until the fall where I can break out some 11.30's @ 119, but Im once again addicted to the tree

Thanks to everyone who has been a part of this project in the last few weeks

QNTs

Junior offered me his Hoosiers for tuesday night, and Wiznaz and myself have a few more ideas just to inch into the 11.49 area. Not sure what Im going to do yet...

But I am sure there's more to come

-Mikey

Haha, congrats and I am glad we kept the record here on the east coast. You come along way, and as much as I wanted to go to the shop gut my 05 and throw my dog box in it, I am happy and proud of you dude.

Do work Tuesday!! Take my tires and tomie header/upipe and go 11.20s! I always wanted to, but I picked a freaking 3500tank to try it in.

Good stuff Mikey! It's awesome to see someone who has been at it a while put it all together. I'm on vacation with crappy internets, but will add you to the top of the VF list when I get back on Tuesday. Congrats!

That's a proud statement of your tuning/building/driving/bragging prowess.

I've been wary of your speculation, but YOU just put your signature to it!

Good Karma: 'Modern Love....' I'm pleased for you, Mikey. Nice.

That's absolutely ridiculous. Wow.. that's hauling ass for basically stage 2 power. Weight reduction and good driving really do mean more than Dyno numbers? Who knew.lol. nice job man.
