Question SERIOUSLY: How Long Do You Want To Live???

I know a lot of people will say, "As long as I can," or "Forever," but I think there's such a thing as living too long. After I start peeing on myself regularly and not being able to eat or do everyday things like bathe, change clothes, etc on my own, I think it's time to call it a day. Plus, I wouldn't want to be a burden on my relatives.

I think about 80 tops would be good.

I want to live as long as I'm relatively ache and pain free and my brain still works. Well, to the extent it works....we'll call it my baseline

I just don't want to outlast all my friends Things would be boring after that. I've allready lost too many people I was friends with and was thinking last week how great it was that no one I know has passed away in 3 years...then the world was robbed of another cool guy who I hoped to have another bs fest with.

Until I can't drive anymore.

Once they take that from me I'll have no reason to.

Unless of course I can drive a rascal electric wheelchair. You can go to the grand canyon in those and well I've never been there!

Long before you're 80, you'll realize that dipping your wick in a human ashtray does not equate with sublime happiness.

In all seriousness if I outlived tracy I think I would want to be dead soon there after.

she is my wife, but also my best friend. i am sure it will grow even stronger as I age, my grandfather outlived my grandmother by 5 years, every day he drove to her grave, touched the letters , said a prayer, and ended with "soon my lovely wife I will be with you".

he out lived his wife, brothers, closest friends and everyone he knew. He also happend to be the biggest abuser of his body. He used to tell me that god was torturing him for all the abuse he had done to himself and others.

I want to live forever, even if I have to be fitted in a big black iron lung because someone cut off my arms and legs, and I couldn't breath because I was burned to a crispy.

my grandparents are 92 and 95, so I'll probably live a while.

I think 100 isnt out of this world.

if you're serious, care to explain why?? i don't see what would be the point. those scenarios are the exact circumstances where I wouldn't want to live anymore.

in my 70's, i can't imagine how much knee replacements will cost, considering i'll probably need them when i reach middle 30's. but i figure 70's is good enough, i would have about 20 years of retirement and happiness hopefully.
