I think when you buy a Mustang, they must be required to give you a big pair of ballz with your purchase.

Hehe.... I broke up with a girl that knew her **** and tracked her car.
Awesome hobbies and want for cars some how couldn't over come her blatent stupidity, concieded, and naggy personality. On top of that, she was a model but had horrible hygeine issues (she didn't like brushing her teeth and didn't shower often)

Anywho back on topic.

Had a friend ask me some things about my car whilst it was sitting in my garage on jack stands.

F=Friend
M=Me!

F: Hey dude, why do you have truck lights on your car?
M: Those are for when I choose to go to the mtns or somewhere I can use them
F: Why? You can't go off the streets...
M: Its awd. -__- see the sticker in the window there? (Pointing to back window)
F: Oh ok. Are you upgrading something? (I had the front end basically torn apart)
M: Yeah, spending a few grand on some goodies
F: A few grand?! Why don't you just sell your car and go buy an integra? Those things are fast and once you hit vtec you'll be smiling.

Needless to say, I burst into laughter and said no thanks.
This really made my night. He was my female friends new boyfriend.
I think I might have to become someones automotive teacher now

Yeah no kidding haha. And to guy with friend that thinks integras are fast.... "educate" him with some WOT... then he'll be telling all of his friends how much faster your car is than the Veyron.

My wife and I talking:

her: My trans am is gonna beat your wrx's ass this summer
me: Sorry baby, not gonna happen. We both know the wrx will walk that heavy old thing.
her: Yeah but if I give you a guilt trip for spending money on parts you won't buy them. We both know you won't say no to me.

Eh. Being a model doesn't automatically mean your hot. It just means you have distinct features

Lol ill pm a pic when I get home to the other guy. & well she was pretty hot. But nonetheless an idiot. She got back with her ex that used to beat her and got her arrested twice, after I left her.

Ok enough of this lol let's get back on topic.

Had another person make a comment about carbon fiber ducted headlights I was going to buy:

F: Why are you going to buy those? You already have headlights.
M: They aren't for street driving, they have no lights in them. Its for track days.
F: But I've never seen you on a track.
M: That's because you never went to one -__-

nah. Maybe when we are done with it but not in its current state. Its a big old '79 with the olds 403 in it. It has the horse power but also so much weight.

In the end it can definately go faster but after quite a bit of time driving them both I have no doubt the wrx is just gonna pull to much on it early.

Don't get me wrong it definately has the prospect to be a much quicker car then the wrx with a bit of work but not at its current stock level and I'm not sure how much she is really gonna let me do to the thing.

I want to build the hell out of it for her but she's kind of on the line about it. She's very much into racing and likes the idea of making it super quick but on the other hand she kind of feels that , well ya know , it's a 79 trans am. It's her dream car and she doesnt want to beat it up either.

She is definately right about her closing argument though. I'm a sucker when it comes to her! lol

yep yep , we frequent the track quite often. Though admittedly generally just as spectators or donating some of our time to DRAW.

Epic loss of man card. Just kidding as I would be in the same boat. But she better not spend on her car if I can't spend on mine.

Kinda similar situation when I bought my 11 sedan. I went to walgreens to pick up a few things at lunch..

Him: wow thats badass
Me: thanks
Him: done anything to it?
Me: no its stock
Him: im gonna turbo my accord
Me: oh cool dood
Him: wow The hood and rims are nice!! You put those on there??
Me: *slaps myself on the forehead* no i just told you its all stock from the factory.. Later dood!!

I think some people get overly excited and forget things told to them..

Street racing, huh? Sounds like a stupid thing to do......

Anyways, got my own from today. Went out to a mud hole last night, got the car pretty dirty. Fast forward to today, eating lunch in parking lot, and the women I was parked next to comes out other car and says "Look at that poor car, it's so dirty!". So I informed her that's a Subaru, and it's how it should be. She tells me that if she was to get a small vehicle for mudding, a Subaru would make sense.

Oh and then a huge lifted Cummins diesel parked on the other side of the women's car, and gives my car a disgusted look. And this thing was lifted, on big old off-road tires, and didn't look like it ever had seen anything but roads. Snapped a pic to post up later too.

As I'm almost about to leave, another clean & lifted truck on off-road rubber starts backing into the spot the women had been in, and then leaves to find another spot after he eyeballs my car.

I haven't had very many people say much about my STi, but the one lady did say this: "I like your gold brakes."

I was like, "Thanks, I like them too!" Haha, they do tend to slow me down when I need them to. Props to her for knowing what they are.
