We ride nearly daily. I have 8 bikes currently...all running. We mainly ride dirt bikes but I still have two Aprilias (the original 2003 Tuono v-twin and a 2002 Mille R). Also have a FJR1300. Florida street riding is great right now, but miserable in mid summer due to the heat.
We race KTM's in the Florida hare Scrambles series. My youngest, Luke, rides a 2018KTM350 in Open B. I split time between a 2017250XCF and a KTM300 XC two stroke and ride in the Master A class which is for riders 50 years old up to 55 years old.
The Tuono 1100 V4 is a stunning bike. The RSV4 Won superbike of the year...again. It is a breathtaking machine. The motor has the sweetest exhaust note of anything out there. The handling is impeccable, almost telepathic. The electronics package is better than any other manufacturer's by a good margin. Read some articles on them.
The
https://www.apriliaforum.com/forums/content.php is the site you'd want to use. I never had any issues with any of my many Aprilias when I lived in Alaska. Rode to San Francisco and Seattle then back to AK. Nothing other than tires, brake pads, chain and sprockets. I did have to replace batteries and a starter relay but that was it in over a decade of ownership there in the 907. The shop that runs the forum is renowned for being excellent to their customers.
If you want something different than a run of the mill JAP bike and lean toward the exotic, Aprilia is at the top of the list in my mind.
