The car is now officially RWD. Tig welded center diff and axle stubs. Going to keep it a “grip” set up but may have some fun here and there. I do plan on swapping an STi rear end in to the car but OEM will do for now.

Also new wheels from System Motorsports just arrived.

Great build man. Like the 255/40 sized tires. Gives it a more beefy look while not being too much. Planning to swap the stock 245/40 on my 17 sti for that size too.

Thought I’d do a little update on here since it’s been so long. A good bit to cover but going to try and keep it kinda brief. I blew the motor this time last year actually at a private track day due to oil starvation. I ended up finding a JDM EJ253 from an importer and refreshed it fully with the help of some knowledgeable friends. We swapped it in a day and some hours and we were ready to rock n roll. Upgraded to an STi oil pan, Killer B baffle/pickup, and did a whole bunch preventative maintenance things while the new motor was going in. That was the big thing. Fast forward to now and the car sits on another different set of wheels and occasionally a pair of Kansei’s for the front when I feel like changing things up. I was also able to partner up with BC Racing in making me some custom spec’d coilovers - a huge upgrade from what I had. Can’t recommend the DS series with Swift Springs enough. I’ve switched out the Bride Zeta ll for a new Recaro SPG PROFI XL which was a move I should’ve made a long time ago. I invested in an aftermarket steering wheel set up recently with some Works Bell x Renown goodness in addition to some small interior things here and there. One of the favorite things I’ve done in the past year are the Ganador Super mirrors. Been rocking them highlighter yellow for a while but recently took them off to wrap them white. Ive done good bit more things but will elaborate on that stuff as I continue to try and be more active with the thread here are some photos of the car from the past 4 months up until the most recent. Thanks all!
