Just thought I'd share my good news from tuesday night. Some people saw my car and numbers last night but I'm pretty pumped about everything.

Finally got custom/one-off/prototype CAI on my car and in turn finished the tune. Ryan and I got down to Early Performance and Kevin got to work pretty quick. He stated that the car's AFRs were lean all over the place, which made us hopeful for it making more power. After almost two hours and a bunch of runs he got the car dialed in and making amazing numbers.

Ended up making 164.2@5210 whp and 190.9@4400 tq.

On J&S' Dyno the car made:
Completely stock: (peak power) 93whp 111wtq

With Full Moore Performance exhaust (Header and catback), Moore Performance CAI and MegaSquirt EM (along with 93oct) the car picked up almost 70whp and 80tq. The number might be a tad off because of the dyno difference but at worst case it picked up 50 and 60.

You realize that comparing numbers between the tpg tuning dyno(formally js dyno) vs early performance is pretty pointless right?

Totally different dynos that give no where near the same numbers lol

Regardless of the dyno the car was rated to make 160chp from the factory. I giving my original numbers as a baseline to some degree. When I started this project a few years ago, that's the only place I went to and the only numbers I had. So it's not completely pointless, im not trying to break any record or anything so while they arent the same it is a starting point. I think they are low and that's why I gave the lower end.

We're happy to see the RS fully tuned and running at it's peak potential for the parts installed at this time. We have a good baseline at this point and we'll change parts according to the SCCA class the car will compete in next year, then dyno/retune. The car is dramatically different than a stock RS and with only a few bolt on's, our custom built standalone ems and a 93 octane tune, it really wakes it up! All the car needs now is a new set of hoosiers and it's back to racing!

Autocross. Ryan took it on the North Track at PittRace once and probably going to get into TrackCross.

Well there's an SCCA Time Trial coming up August 5th if you'd like to do a few more laps in your own car...like 50 more.

https://www.motorsportreg.com/index....A#.UgTmD1eBWEg

The price on that page is wrong. It is NOT $60, it is $185 and you get four 20 minute sessions.

Other info:
Steel Cities Region SCCA - Level 2 Club Trial with "point by passing" on the North Track at Pittsburgh International Race Complex (PIRC) on Sunday, August 25th in conjunction with PittRace. This will be an "all Club Trial" event.

This event will be held under the SCCA 2013 Time Trials Rules. This means you don't need any special safety equipment (cage/roll bar, fire extinguisher, safety harness, race suit, etc.) All you need is a Snell rated helmet and long sleeves and pants.

The event will run normal Solo (autocross) classes, except for kart-based classes which are prohibited at this event. GCR legal vehicles will run in their corresponding Solo class.
