I have never heard of it causing any harm. I use it from time to time. I saw a video on youtube once of a can running directly off of it and the before and after seemed legit.

I sprayed a can in my intake and a can in my gas tank when i bought my '12 STi, it must have cleaned up alot of carbon in there from how much it was smoking. not sure how much it helped performance wise but it was peace of mind.

Default worked for me

I have used Seafoam when bringing cars that had set for a long time back in to service - Found it get them running much smoother while working the old gas through the system and on my way to put new gas into the tank. Not sure I'd use it as PM given the 99 cent bottles deal well enough with a bit of H2O condensing in the tank and are cheap enough to add every 3 or 4 months.....

@Brimm51 that's not how it works, it makes any car smoke, you're basically burning oil directly in the cylinders. It literally says on the can and in any video you watch that it will smoke heavily and that's why you're supposed to drive kind of hard for a short time after using the intake spray.
