I know it's a bit last minute, but there will be a group ride in Mountain Top, Pa on July 4th at 10:30am. The core group will be riding at somewhat of a mellow pace, with the potential for a faster 2nd group depending on the turn out. We will be riding 10-16 miles of various terrain, 90% of it being single track. PM or reply for more details

man I really wish you were not 2 hours away because I really want to find some people to ride with. I do the rail trails in my area with my family and my wife has started to enjoy some mellow mountain trails. I went the other day on a sweet trail near my house, Took me about 45 min. just to get to top of the mountain, only 10 min. to get back down though!

We are doing a follow up ride on Sunday July 6th near the same location in Mt Top, Pa. We will probably start at 8am. Same mileage at a moderate pace. As always these trails are littered with log-overs, techy rock gardens, climbing and tight twisty turns, a few fun downhills too. PM or reply for details

Dude, there are lots of trails only minutes from Reading... check out MTBR.com for some good spots (such as Blue Marsh and French Creek). There are guys that set up rides all the time.

French creek is where my wife and I have rode the last couple of times, last time it had just rained so the rocks were real slick but the mud was fun. I will check out the website to see if I can meet with some more people.

A few of us are heading up to Merli Sarnoski park in Carbondale, PA this Sunday for a mt bike ride. I would like to extend the invatation to everyone here. It will be a moderate pace, mostly single track, some technical, and of course climbing/downhill. You know all the typical stuff involved in a mt bike ride :-)

If anyone is interested in joining us let me know. If you would like to link up along the way let me know.

Where: Merli Sarnoski Park
When: Aug 10th
Time: Arrive at park 9am
Ride Time: 2-3 hours
Distance: 10-15 miles

Ride On
